Unique Features of Our Catamaran Charters
Our Stiletto catamaran glides over the Gulf’s emerald waters at speeds above 20 mph. It’s perfect for chasing thrills and catching sunsets on the water, on the beach, or on the dock.
An estimated 3-4 dozen dolphins in this area of the Gulf constantly regularly interact with sailboats and their passengers. We see them on most cruises. They often swim alongside our catamaran for at least a while.
However, dolphins are not the only reason to take the Southern Country Charters dolphin cruise. Some of the memories you’ll be making include:

Our catamarans are not handicap-accessible, unfortunately. Adults and children are welcome, but we cannot allow pets (including comfort or service animals). Glass items, recreational drugs, and firearms are prohibited.

Nearly all our sailing adventures are led by our head sailing captian, Captain Bill Anderson. With over 35 years of expereince sailing Destin’s beautiful Emerald Coast, Capt. Bill knows all it’s secrets and treasures and exactly where to sail to catch the most dolphin activity.
Captain Payton, our owner, has boated on local waters for over 20 years. An avid hunter and fisherman since childhood, Payton established Southern Country Charters to share his passion for life on the water.
In addition to captaining some of our fishing charters, Payton trains our other captains to ensure that our guests have the best possible experiences.

BYOB Drinks & Alcohol on Your Charter
For those who have reached the legal drinking age (and yes, we check IDs), alcoholic beverages are welcome on all dolphin cruises in Destin, FL. We don’t provide or serve alcohol, but we invite you to bring your wine, beer, spirits, and mixers. An ice chest will be on board for your convenience.
Destin, FL, Dolphin Cruise Availability & Pricing
Our private dolphin cruises in Destin, Florida, depart twice daily by reservation only. Although we accept same-day bookings when capacity allows, we highly recommend reservations in advance. Our cruises often sell out days or weeks ahead of time.
- Three-hour Destin Dolphin, Sailing & Snorkeling cruises can depart at either 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. and starts at $450 overall for the charter, including fuel and other fees and expenses.
- Four-hour cruises also depart at either 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. and cost $600 overall for the charter, including fuel and other fees and expenses.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had great experience with Captain Bill Anderson. My wife and I brought our 3 kids ages 10 to 15. Everyone had a fun trip. We motored up to the dolphin watch area and saw dolphins right away, plenty of time to take pictures. We then snorkeled and the kids enjoyed seeing the hermit crabs crawling around their feet. We finished the sail without the motor, just the wind in the sails. Very relaxing sitting up front with your toes in the water. Would definitely recommend taking this 3 hour cruise rather then being packed into a large boat with 50 or more strangers.
