Another beautiful week in the mid 70’s here in Destin! A bit windy this week to get offshore too much, but we got some fishing in!
The mingo bite was strong again. Some folks are having to run out a little more to get them, but we’re still consistently finding them real close! Mingo, white snapper, & sand perch are all hot on the bottom.
There’s also a decent amount of flounder out there chewing on the near shore reefs! Definitely worth throwing out a few lines for those fish. Ton of fun to fight on light tackle, and a delicious fish!
The red snapper are just getting bigger & bigger out there right now! We can’t wait for snapper season in a couple months. Already starting to get booked up for expected snapper dates!
The Spanish are finally here! Heard of some kings being caught too near shore. It’s that time of year!! Looks like one more cold(er) weather push in a week, and then it’s all sunny and 75+ after that.
The winter bite has been hot, but it’s setting up for one hell of a spring bite! Don’t wait too long to book your trip!
