Rough conditions have pretty much kept everyone at the dock this week! With the rough conditions for fishing (30+ mph winds) I thought it would be a good time to give our first duck hunting report!
The buffleheads are thick down here now, and scattered all over the place in the bay. The redheads and bluebills are starting to show up in big rafts, and I expect to see a lot more killed between now and the end of the season this month.
On our guided hunts this week, we shot six blue bills, four red heads, three buffles heads, two mallards, and a common merganser. Things are heating up, so don’t wait until it’s too late to get out there and hunt!
