We’ll another fairly windy week! We were able to get out there and drop a few days to start the week though, which was nice to finally be out there again.
The mingo bite has been good with some white snapper & scamp grouper mixed in. Less scamp being caught now as the water has begun to heat up some more.
The king bite is hot! The cigar minnows have started to pile at the pass, and they’re chewing on some cigars on stinger rigs. We’ve also seen planers & crystal minnows doing the trick. Try trolling natural bottom for them this time of year.
Spanish has continued to be good, and lots of bonita out there too.
Red snapper season was just announced for June 17th-July 31st! We are super excited to get y’all out there and fish for red snapper all summer! We also got some bonus dates in the fall to take y’all fishing for snapper too! Don’t wait too long though, we will be solidly booked up all summer long for red snapper in the next few weeks.
